There is big news for the youth who are dreaming of doing a government job in the bank. Indian Overseas Bank has released recruitment for 400 vacant posts of Local Bank Officer. The application process for this recruitment has started today i.e. from 12th May, which will continue till the last date of 31st May 2025.
Candidates who fulfill the eligibility for this recruitment can fill the form online by visiting the official website www.iob.in or direct portal . Forms will not be accepted in any other way.
Eligibility and Criteria
To apply for Local Bank Officer posts, the candidate must have passed graduation from any recognized university/institute. Along with this, keeping in mind 1st May 2025, the minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 20 years and the maximum age should not be more than 30 years. Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in upper age as per rules.

To apply for this recruitment, first of all you have to go to the portal ibpsonline.ibps.in/ioblboapr25/ and click on Click here for New Registration and register by filling the required details. After this, you have to fill other details and complete the form. Now upload the signature and photograph, and finally deposit the category-wise prescribed fee. After submitting the form, take a printout of it and keep it safe with you.
Application fee
After filling the application form for this recruitment, General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay Rs 850, while SC, ST, PH (Divyang) category candidates will have to pay Rs 175 as application fee. Application fee can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking.
