If you want your sex life to sizzle, you might want to fire up your frying pan.
Bacon butties have been voted one of the nation’s favourite foods of love, a survey has revealed. Chocolate and bananas – which are both traditional aphrodisiacs – topped the list of food to get us in the mood.
But 13% of those polled said a bacon sandwich helped make sure they were smokin’ in the sack.
The humble sausage was also highly rated, as the fourth-placed frisky food was a Full English.

The cooked breakfast, along with fish and chips and curries, pulled in higher scores than other much-touted aphrodisiacs such as oysters and avocados.
Some 2,000 adults did the WhichBingo.co.uk poll. Spokesman Charlie Shakespeare said: “It turns out that a little bit of the food you really fancy is good for you, especially when it comes to igniting passion with your partner..
“Some of the best known aphrodisiacs, like chocolate and bananas, are getting a run for their money.”
