Sabrina Carpenter has gushed over her boyfriend, and believes he is the "greatest".

The 25-year-old singer cast her boyfriend as her love interest in her music video for 'Please Please Please' and she admitted he was an easy choice for the project. She told 'CBS Sunday Morning': "I am genuinely, like a not even biased opinion, was like, 'Who's the greatest actor that I can find for this music video?' And he was next to me, in a chair, and he was so excited about it. And he liked the song, which is great. He's a fan of the song."

"He does like my music a lot." In the video, Barry, 31, plays a criminal heartthrob who is later arrested after robbing a woman at gunpoint. One scene shows him handcuffed to a chair by . The 'Espresso' hitmaker was one of the opening acts on Taylor Swift's 'Eras Tour' and she praised the "graceful and gracious" superstar for her support. She said: "You just watch her, like, walk in a room and it's very easy to understand that she's so composed, she's graceful, she's gracious."

Asked the advice she's received from Taylor, she said: "I wouldn't say it's, like, a verbal thing as much as just, like, she's very supportive of me and knows who I am as a person and is very supportive of that. So I'm grateful for that."

Sabrina also credits her mom for keeping her grounded. She said: "She's so selfless, and has been that way her whole life with me and my sisters. I love her so much! [She told me] not to take everything so seriously all the time. So, that's been really helpful."

"My mom's such a positive person. I don't think she's ever made me feel like what I was doing was too much, ever." The 'Taste' singer is currently in the midst of an international tour and relies on humour and caffeine to keep the pressure at bay. She said: "There's always gonna be stress, there's always going to be anxiety, there's always gonna be drama."

"But for me, like, being able to laugh about it is really important. So, I would say that. And also caffeine. Because without caffeine, I wouldn't be doing this interview right now!" This isn't the first time Sabrina has praised the Saltburn star. Speaking in August, she said he is one of the "best of this generation".

Speaking to Variety, Sabrina said: "I don't want to sound biased, but I think he's one of the best actors of this generation. So getting to see him on the screen with my song as the soundtrack made the video better and all the more special."
