Rebekah Vardy has reportedly landed a huge new TV role alongside her footballer husband Jamie.
The WAG, 42, and Leicester City footie star Jamie, 37, are said to be working on a new documentary film based on his personal life, rise to fame and incredible football career. According to insiders, Jamie will be filmed for the duration of the final year of his contract with the club.
Becky had a difficult few years after hitting headlines over her WAG war with Coleen Rooney. It was only recently reported that footballer Wayne Rooney's wife was challenging having to pay 20 per cent of the whopping £320,000 legal bill from their infamous 2022 libel battle - which gained so much attention that a few documentaries, a TV drama and a theatre dramatisation were created.
However, the latest court battle hit a dead end. It was said the two rival's lawyers were told by a High Court judge that he wouldn't give a ruling in the dispute. And now, Rebekah has time to focus on her husband, children and new TV projects, such as a documentary.
"Jamie is working on a film about his life and it will centre on his final season at the King Power stadium," an insider recently claimed to The Sun. They added: "Becky is involved too but the spotlight is very much going to be on Jamie. No one wants to turn this into a circus.”
Meanwhile, Rebekah recently took to her Instagram to tell fans that she would be "carnage" on a night out but also shared an insight into her life with Leicester City striker Jamie and hinted that they could one day settle for life abroad. But one admission would certainly take fans by shock as Rebekah opened up about accusations she has faced over the years. One daring fan asked: "What's the funniest fake story you have seen about yourself?"
Rebekah didn't hold back as she replied to the question for all to see. "Oh God, there are too many to name," she replied. Rebekah continued: "It's usually a weekly thing... But up there is 'I told my x I was upgrading him' that ran for a bit. Well he's in prison now so... But that was utterly ridiculous." She added: "Wanting to be the next VB [Victoria Beckham] I mean she's amazing but come on... Being told off by the England manager [poo emoji] ummm so many I forget."
