Old rare coins worth mega fortune – with one unique gem selling for £10,000

The 1854 Four Pence Grout has just 11,880 ever minted. This has a value of £230 to £2,000.

"Next we have the 1851 One Shilling, with only 470,071 made, this can sell between £100 and £2,000." After detailing the coins, he told collectors to keep an eye out. The post garnered hundreds of likes and numerous comments since it was posted. One said: "Do not upset the wizard." While another added: "I have many coins from the UK."

Coins with limited mintage are often in circulation, so it's always best to check your change for anything unusual before spending it. You should also look for coins in places which are not often occupied, like abandoned houses and beneath bridges.
