My Mum, Your Dad fans say it's 'the best date so far' as sparks fly with one couple

Things went off to a flying start for Vicky and David on the latest episode of My Mum, Your Dad as a sweet date left fans hot and the collar.

During the episode, Davina visited the parents' children. She said: "I know you all want to see your parents on a date at some point and your wish is my command. So I bring you another off-site date for them to go on today. So shall we have a think about who you think it should be?"

Vicky’s daughter Angharad nominated her mum, saying: "I think my mum has mentioned David." With the kids all in agreement, Maria’s daughter Livia added: "I would like to see that, yesterday they had a good chat for the first time and your mum opened up for the first time to David."

Turning to David’s daughter Tiana, Angharad said: "I think maybe they need the opportunity to actually see if there is something there because my mum said that she did really enjoy her chat with your dad yesterday."

As the pair headed off for their private time away from the eyes of their fellow co-stars, Davina told the kids that Tiana and Angharad would be watching them while telling the dance instructor what to do. She explained: "It's a really special date, it's a dance lesson.

"Obviously, they are not going to be alone as you two are going. And this time you are going to be in the ear of the dance instructor, so you can direct what you want your parents to do!"

After discovering their secret mission Angharad laughed: "My mum has no coordination." While Tiana said: "I don’t think my dad’s any better."

But as the pair enjoyed their romantic dance session, fans also agreed that it was a good match. One viewer headed to X and wrote: "D is brilliant best date so far. I really like them both together."

Another penned: "Vicky and D!!! Wow!!!" While another seemed impressed with Dean offering Vicky his jacket at the end of their date and wrote: "Vicky's wearing Dee's blazer," followed by a crying face emoji.

But although the pair got along swimmingly, Vicky is still open to getting to know her other matches in the house. As well as Vicky and Dean's romantic date another spanner was thrown in the works for the parents as a new mum Steph joined the gang, hoping to find love.
