Cruiserweight champion Gilberto Ramirez has issued a warning to and claims his clash with is just 'entertainment.'

Both Tyson and Paul are scheduled to go head-to-head at the AT&T Stadium in Texas, in front of up to 90,000 fans. 'Iron Mike' - who will be 58 when he steps foot in the ring next month - hasn't fought since 2020 when he took on in an exhibition showdown. His last professional contest came back in 2005 when he suffered a fifth-round defeat to Irishman .

It is , with both men set to pocket a life-changing payday. As for Paul, the 27-year-old made his professional debut four years ago and has been competing regularly since. After his first outing, he has beaten the likes of Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz. 'The Problem Child' comes into the fight off the back of a win over former fighter Mike Perry back in July.

Both men were scheduled to meet earlier this year, but Tyson was back in July after suffering an ulcer flare up. Despite concerns for his health leading up to the fight, the 58-year-old is back in training and insists he will be ready to make the walk to the ring on November 15.

Many people within the community have slammed the decision to go ahead with the bout. However, one man who has dismissed any form of criticism regarding the fight is Ramirez, who believes the clash is just for 'entertainment' purposes. In an interview with , the professional boxer said: “It’s a business in entertaining fights. That’s all. I mean, I don’t think they want to fight, like, a real fight. Because Mike Tyson is getting old and is not in his prime. And the other guy is in his prime. I think it’s just entertainment.”

While there are a few who are intrigued by the heavyweight dust-up, the majority are concerned for Tyson's health. Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has previously . "The reality is that 20 years ago when Mike Tyson retired from the sport he was shot, completely finished," . "It was actually sad to watch then, 20 years ago. I'm in awe of him - he's one of my favourite ever fighters, one of the greatest of all time - but he's a 58-year-old man. You only need to speak to him and look at him to know this guy should not be in a ring again."

He added: "If I was Jake Paul I'd just feel a little bit embarrassed to be honest with you. It's a liberty," Hearn said. "This is dangerous, irresponsible and, in my opinion, disrespectful to the sport of boxing."

With just weeks to go until the fight, there are a few fans who believe the 58-year-old isn't taking the fight seriously. During a recent chat with Jimmy Kimmel, 'Iron Mike' claimed he was training six hours a day. "I am training extremely hard, I do six hours a day. I start at 11am and might leave the gym at 5pm," he said. Kimmel looked stunned and replied: "Oh no. 11am? So that's six hours straight, or is there a lunch break?" The former heavyweight champion admitted there was a small break as a shocked Kimmel gasped: "Oh no."
