A man has claimed to have built the including all the usual home comforts - in only 19.46 sq ft.

Levi Kelly has seating, a bed, kitchen, hot water, a toilet, shower and air conditioning in the little building. The 27-year-old is hoping the little house will eventually set a - although it is yet to be confirmed.

Levi spent around £3,824 on the project. He said: "Everyone who walks in says 'wow'. "People seem to be impressed everything can fit in such a small space.

"To get it to be so small while remaining functional, I added a folding bed and moveable toilet. As well as having the shower outside, to help with space.

“I had a small trailer already. Fixed it up and started with the framing just like a normal house. Exterior is cedar cladding and it is insulted.

"Is it made to be lived in full-time, possibly. Would anyone want to? Probably not.”

Such is the small conditions, anyone over 5ft 10in would not be able to sleep inside. Levi hopes to use the home to go on camping trips with his wife Savannah and their two children, aged three and nine months.

Despite being delighted with the home, there are a few things he would change. He said: "If there was anything I'd change it would be the fold-down bed and ventilation.

"The space to get into the bed is pretty tight. Also, I forgot to add ventilation so the hot air gets trapped at the top.

"I would also make the bench fold out for a larger platform that could be used as a second bed. "I would also change the battery situation, adding a larger battery and better solar panels for more off-grid usability."

The video was shared to YouTube, where it has had more than 30,000 views so far.
