MAFS UK expert furiously claps back as viewers hit out at 'bullying behaviour' on show

expert Paul Carrick Brunson has hit out at E4 viewers after they accused him of turning a blind eye to bullying behaviour on the show.

The latest series of the E4 show, which sees hopeful romantics tie the knot with complete strangers in a daring experiment, has been one of the most dramatic yet as the cast continue to lock horns with one another.

Over the past two weeks, viewers have been hooked to the reality show after new bride Hannah entered the group with her husband Stephen - and the pair have brought endless drama.

After falling out on their honeymoon, Hannah later sought reassurance from other members of the group given that her husband was ignoring her. However, after showing off flirty behaviour with a number of other husbands including Orson, Ryan, and Alex, Hannah soon rubbed up the girls in the group wrong as they became threatened by her flirty behaviour.

Although Hannah never made a move on her husband, Polly got involved in the drama and spoke down to Hannah on the couple's retreat as the girls enjoyed a day without their men. Polly, who is married to Adam, launched an attack on Hannah and claimed that she was trying to steal other brides' husbands away from them.

This caused immense drama between the group, and viewers accused Polly of 'bullying' Hannah, insisting that it was 'hard to watch' her behaviour play out on screen.

During Monday's instalment of the E4 show, Polly and her husband Adam sat in front of the experts at the commitment ceremony. Relationship experts Paul C Brunson, Mel Schilling, and Charlene Douglas all questioned the couple on where they stood with one another - however, Polly's behaviour at the retreat and dinner party wasn't brought up - much to the shock of viewers.

After the episode aired, a number of unimpressed viewers took to X, formerly known as , to call out Polly's behaviour as well as the experts decision to seemingly let her get away with her behavior towards Hannah.

One viewer fumed: "OMG the experts saw at the dinner party what Holly and Polly were like towards Hannah, but yet again, nothing was said. WTF."

In response, MAFS UK expert Paul hit back, insisting that their behaviour was in fact questioned during the commitment ceremony, but that it was cut out in the final edit of the episode. Paul replied: "Some of these comments are wild.

"Please remember, the show has been carefully edited over several months. What you're seeing is just 6 minutes of a couple's session, which could have lasted over 60 minutes.

"Just because something isn't shown doesn't mean it didn't happen. For instance, I did call Polly out tonight, but it wasn't included in the final edit. Production can't show everything. Let'ss keep that in mind and relax."
