She landed another huge TV job after last month being announced on the next series of The Masked Singer. Maya, 30, also makes a fortune from lucrative ad jobs and has appeared in commercials for a number of brands, including McDonald's, Rimmel London, and Dolce Gabbana.
The , 30, has ploughed much of her wealth into investments, worth £407,000, and has £1.3 million in the bank, as well as being owed £630,000 by debtors. After bills are settled, she is left with more than £1.8 million in reserves in the company. She also paid a monster Corporation Tax bill of £493,000 - showing a taxable income of around £2.5m.
In the previous year, she paid £128,950 which points to a big jump in her earnings for the 12 months to the end of January 2024. The accounts show assets in the business leapt from £1.6 million last year to £2.35 million this year. But Modest Maya valued herself at just £10,000 to the firm.
Under a section called ‘goodwill’ Maya quantified herself with the figure, Maya split with long term love rapper Stormzy in July but can do nothing wrong in her TV career. The canny businesswoman recently invested in plant milk brand Sproud. She will be a strategic adviser and the public face of the Swedish company following the deal.
She said: "I'm really excited to become a co-owner of Sproud. The products taste amazing, and the packaging is eye-catching, too, but ultimately I like what the company stands for in terms of health and sustainability." This week she was named at number 15 in Heat magazine's annual 30 under 30 Rich List, sitting on a fortune of £8.1m.
