Jake Paul's love life - from 'weddings' to ex who also had a fling with his brother

While many people may have only heard of from his newfound career and daring to take on in the ring, the YouTube star has also raised eyebrows over his past .

Jake rose to fame in 2013, alongside his brother, Logan Paul, after the pair started posting skits and videos online, and conjured up a strong fanbase over the years. But he has also shared much of his personal life online too.

From fake weddings to a string of models and fellow YouTubers, Jake has had his fair share of heartbreaks all while bolstering his YouTube career and string of entrepreneurial ventures. Throughout his career, he's never shied away from talking about his rocky and tumultuous love life, especially in his YouTube videos, and we take a look at some of the past flings the star has been caught up in, including one who cheated on him with his brother...

Jutta Leerdam

The YouTube and boxing star is currently dating world-champion speed skater Jutta Leerdam from the Netherlands. It was announced when the pair became official in April 2013 when he shared a photo with the Dutch athlete on Instagram and captioned the photo: "I'm Dutch now."

While he is known for his unserious and comedic gigs, the 25-year-old proudly defended her boyfriend when she appeared on his podcast in 2023 to discuss her career and their relationship. She said: "He's not an idiot in real life. He’s just different in front of the cameras. You're just the sweetest guy ever, and I want to expose you one day. It's so different seeing you on video, your personality there online compared to everywhere else."

She continued: "You're actually a little bit more introverted in real life. You're more chill. You're like sweet and genuine and more vulnerable and like emotionally open. I've never seen that in a guy. I've never seen a guy that's so open. It's actually manly that you can show your emotions and I think that's really beautiful."

Julia Rose

However prior to Jutta, Jake was dating model and social media influencer Julia Rose in 2020. While he kept his relationship mostly under wraps, Jake hinted at a potential romance during an episode of , the professional boxer mentioned he had been talking to a girl, likely referring to Julia.

He gushed: "It's been completely off-camera. That's super healthy … It's good to have real relationships off-camera that you value, and you know that that person genuinely cares about you and isn’t just there to be in content and get clout out of the situation."

Then he revealed he met her on set for his music video "These Days" which she starred in, and he said: "We met on set of the music video, then we fell in love. Everything progressed and we kept on falling in love really fast." However the pair then went through a rocky two years of multiple breakups. He then shared a cryptic Instagram post and said: "Picked the wrong rose."

Tana was one of Jake's most 'high profile' relationships. A fellow YouTuber herself, Tana and Jake started to make videos together, and sensationally asked Tana a month after they started dating to "marry him" while they were in Las Vegas celebrating her 21st birthday. But fans started to question whether their relationship was genuine or just for the show.

Jake claimed their relationship was "real but it's also not" and according to he said: "This whole thing with Tana is like escalating. I don't even know how to describe it. It's real, but it's also not. But it also is, so it's , man. I don't know what it's going to turn into. Stay tuned." They then got married at a televised wedding ceremony in Las Vegas for MTV.

However, just two weeks after 'tying the knot, ' Tana admitted they weren't legally married, and six months later, the couple announced they were taking a break - which then turned into a permanent split.

Tana wasn't the only girlfriend Jake 'married' as he started dating fellow YouTuber Erika Costell early in 2017. In June 2017, Jake posted that appeared to show the couple getting married, which now has over 33 million views, and the pair also released a song about their relationship called "Jerika."

But the couple split just a few months later, and in a statement posted on X in November 2017 he said their breakup was "the healthiest thing for both of us."

Tessa Brooks

In 2016, Jake created Team 10, this launched the careers of multiple internet stars through their daily vlogs, as they all lived in a giant Los Angeles mansion. The content house and its members became a well known YouTube group. In the group was Tessa Brooks, but while Jake and Tessa never confirmed their relationship, they sparked dating rumours after she kissed him in a .

Less than a year later, Tessa announced she was leaving Team 10 and said they had "grown apart" and were "heading in different directions" saying it wasn't something that was "right" for her anymore. Two years later, Tessa was seen hanging out with Tana Mongeau, another of Jake's exes, and in a video she said: "Bet you thought you’d seen the last of us" to the camera, according to .

Alissa Violet

Jake was also said to be dating another of his fellow Team 10 members. Alissa and Jake had an on-and-off relationship from 2015 to 2017. However Alissa claimed they were never official, their relationship was very much in the public eye.

"We never officially dated, ever. Which there are so many things out there like, 'Jake Paul's ex-girlfriend,' and I'm always the ex. It was just hooking up and I've chased him for so long and I wanted him to be my boyfriend," she said in 2018's docuseries.

Jake admitted he was in love with Alissa on . However, he said things went downhill after she hooked up with his brother, Logan Paul. This taught the star to be "more careful" with who he dates.
