teased a sad exit from the ITV soap on Monday night, amid the 'unannounced return' of a character.
One teen had been offscreen for weeks with no real mention why, while some of the younger cast members have been taking school exams in recent months. On Friday night one character made a big return after months away, with them spending time in a secure children's home.
Angelica King caused the death of Heath Hope back in January after dangerous driving. Angelica was just 14 years old when she got behind the wheel and went joyriding, only to crash the car, killing pal Heath.
After weeks of blaming Heath's sister Cathy Hope, she finally admitted her guilt and was charged. Angelica is now back in the village after months away, adjusting to life outside of the home.
But one person noticeably missing amid her return was Cathy, while her and Heath's dad Bob Hope was shown to be taken aback by Angelica's return. Amid Angelica struggling with life post-imprisonment, Cathy made a sudden return to the show on Monday.

The pair did finally make amends though, with Cathy knowing her twin brother's death was an accident and able to forgive her pal. But she was left concerned when it became apparent Angelica was not okay.
Cathy soon told Bob with Angelica's mum Nicola King also finding out what was going on. Cathy revealed Angelica had told her she was struggling, telling the adults she was in a bad way.
She then confessed she didn't ever want to go back to school, fearing she would be bullied or seen differently due to her crime. Not only that, but there was a major exit hint as Angelica told Cathy she didn't know if she could stay in the village.
Cathy informed Bob who then told Nicola that Angelica wasn't sure she could stick around, and that she didn't want to live there anymore. So might Angelica confide this to her mother, and could it result in a permanent exit for the troubled teen after events earlier this year? Viewers will have to wait and see whether she stays!
