ITV Britain's Got Talent fans issue show plea as they spot 'missing' act during auditions

Britain's Got Talent fans were quick to issue a show plea on Sunday night as they spotted a "missing" act during the auditions.

On Saturday night's episode, a contestant called Bobby Goldfinn, who wore a goldfish mask, attempted to tell jokes to judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli. However, Bobby Goldfinn kept forgetting the punchline because they've got the memory of a goldfish and they received four red buzzers from the unimpressed judges. Joking about the audition, Simon said: "Well, the good thing is you're going to forget this ever happened..."

Yet later on the show, it appeared Bobby Goldfinn did forget as they attempted to audition again, where they again forgot their punchline, leaving the judges complaining as they again hit their red buzzers. But this wasn't the end for Bobby Goldfinn as they attempted to audition again for a third time as amused hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly were forced to intervene, attempting to get the act off stage as they kept trying to get back on. As the show came to an end, Bobby Goldfinn appeared on stage again.

Viewers tuning into Sunday night's show were hoping they'd see Bobby Goldfinn audition again as part of his sketch but were disappointed to see the comedy act not make an appearance. Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to issue a show plea as they hoped that Bobby Goldfinn will make another appearance during the auditions.

One person said: "Where was Bobby Goldfin... ? #BGT", another fan wrote: "#bgt come on.. where’s Bobby??", a different show watcher commented: "Knock knock #BritainsGotTalent #BGT where is Bobby goldfish?" while another account added: "The bigger question is where is Bobby goldfish #BritainsGotTalent #BGT."

Elsewhere, a different person put: "I think Gold Fish Head will be back. it’s not the end of him yet. #BGT", a different account put: "Are we going to see fish guy? Funniest bit about last night on #BGT", another wrote: "Bring back the fish, all is forgiven #bgt", a different viewer said: "Bring back the fish #BGT" while another added: "bobby golfdin would’ve made the night better #BGT."

It comes as fans are convinced they've figured out Bobby Goldfinn's identity. Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to react as they predicted who could be behind the mask. One person said: "Be funny if the goldfish man was somebody famous taking the p*** #BGT", a different account put: "Bobby Goldfin is probably somebody that’s already famous. Reveal coming soon, no doubt. #BGT" while another added: "There’s so gonna be someone famous under this fish mask… it’s giving masked singer vibes #BGT."

It comes as The Sun has claimed that Bobby Goldfinn is an amateur comedian from Massachusetts called Bobby Finn, who has 335K followers on Instagram and 649.1K on TikTok. The Mirror has contacted both Bobby Finn and Britain's Got Talent for comment.
