He revealed: "I know very little about two rumours surrounding the place. The first is that it is a murder house and there could be evidence for this as we saw what looked like blood splatter all over one door. The second rumour is that the person simply upped and left the house to pursue a new life somewhere else."

Daniel said exploring the home also allowed him to learn some details about the scientist who lived in the house, as he explained: "I got an idea of who the person was from names on letters and documents, so the person who changed their name from male to female explained how they struggled to identify themselves in their earlier years from thinking they may be gay in the 1960's and didn't understand it. In an interview taken in 2016 the person explored the of transgender and crossdressing before realising they were transexual and explaining how the changes to their lifestyle were superb and they were happier.

"This person also suffered from prostate cancer and survived. The house had a few smashed windows I assume from previous visitors over the years with one of them being left open which was our access point."

While exploring the house, Daniel said he noticed a "tense" atmosphere. He said: "The atmosphere was quite tense as this place is hidden away in quite an affluent area so sneaking around so we are not disturbing anyone makes it quite tense. At first, I thought we would not find a way inside like a few years ago but we got lucky.

"The outside of the property is in pretty good condition apart from wear and tear as well as windows being broken into. When I went a few years ago nature had overtaken the gardens quite a bit but this time it was not so bad."

Talking about the indoor area, he said: "Inside the place apart from a bit of graffiti is in amazing condition bits have been ransacked and stolen from here but you can tell a whole life was lived here. Various chemicals in bottles are left everywhere as well as scientific equipment which I have no idea what they were used for. As well as various antiques and memories just left behind to wither and rot away.

"I love taking photos of different things and items and dramatic places such as this and showing how these places were once filled with people enjoying their everyday lives and now the space is vacant and left. From what I can tell the house has been left for a good 10 - 15 years maybe even longer from dates and various items left as well as the damage and overgrowth."

He concluded that visiting the abandoned home was "interesting" despite admitting that it was "a bit creepy". He said: "No scary moments here. The place is a bit creepy as night had set in which added another layer to any exploration but was mainly just an interesting place to visit and record."
