Hit TV show Friends celebrates it's 30th anniversary - but can you name the sitcom's top moments

The challenge comes as fans' favourite scenes from the show include Ross's infamous orange spray tan, the iconic 'pivot' sequence with a sofa on the stairs, and the boys winning the girls' New York apartment in a bet.

A survey of 2,000 fans marking the 30th anniversary of the hit US comedy revealed some of the most memorable scenes from the show, featuring the antics of roommates and neighbours Ross, Rachel, Joey, Phoebe, Monica and Chandler.

Other standout moments include Ross getting stuck in his new pair of leather trousers, and Joey discovering Monica and Chandler's secret relationship.

Phoebe's performance of Smelly Cat, along with Ross mistakenly saying 'I take thee Rachel' instead of his then-partner Emily during their wedding vows, are other fan-favourite moments from the show.

An impressive 70% of the fans surveyed said the series is the most iconic show to have ever aired on TV and 77% love to rewatch old episodes as it makes them feel nostalgic about a great time they enjoyed.

The reasons for its enduring popularity include being easy to watch (66%), clever writing (57%) and a strong cast (50%).

Of the main characters, Monica is the one most fans relate to - a cleanliness-obsessed motherly figure who tries her best to make everyone happy alongside her partner Chandler a sarcastic joker who keeps his cards close to his chest.

A study conducted via OnePoll, commissioned by Warner Bros to commemorate the first episode's airdate in 1994, revealed that Monica's apartment is considered the top location (45%) home to memorable moments like Rachel's infamous Shephard's Pie trifle.

The show's massive cultural influence over three decades is evident as nearly half (47%) of fans have incorporated a line from the series into everyday conversation.

Joey's legendary 'How you doin'?' catchphrase (53%) clinches the top spot, followed closely by Ross's 'pivot!' exclamation (46%). Chandler's recurring 'Could I BE any more...?' (40%) and Monica's 'I know!' (33%) are also fan favourites.

Next on the list is the Central Perk coffee shop (43%), where the inaugural scene unfolds with Rachel arriving in her wedding dress, telling Monica she wants to cancel her big day.
