future in north London is far from secure. The utter collapse in the this season has been horrible for fans to watch, regardless of the horrendous injury issues.
Perhaps the worst aspect of the loss against Liverpool was the sheer predictability of it. Even if had briefly given the visitors the lead - and it was a very short run before the equaliser - there was an air of inevitability about the outcome of the game as the hosts secured their 20th league title. Spurs were cut open at will by Arne Slot's team, and in truth the 5-1 scoreline almost flattered Spurs, with the Red squandering chances late in the game.

The manager's future seems very much tied to their fortunes in the . But should it be? It was a record 19th Premier League loss of the season for Spurs at Anfield, with the club set for their lowest-ever finish.
European glory and a place in the next season certainly seems a long way off after the loss against Liverpool. Will the manager be in place after the summer? football.london's writers discuss below...
Kieran HornRegardless of where Tottenham's focus is and the calibre of opponent performances like that are completely unacceptable.
The outcome of the trip to Liverpool really did not matter to the majority but getting embarrassed yet again is quite concerning. Even if Ange Postecoglou guides Spurs to Europa League glory, it is quite clear that a change is needed at the helm.
On far too many occasions this season Spurs have been heavily beaten while also being rather toothless in attack. A painful rebuild is still quite clearly needed and just changing the manager yet again is unlikely to see fortunes drastically change and swiftly, but it simply cannot go on like this into the 2025/26 season.
Lee WilmotSupporting Tottenham this season has been a chore. It has not been enjoyable in the slightest, not even when we have won - which has been rare.
Against Liverpool It was clear, as it has been so often this season, that there was no plan, no pattern of play, no style and no interest in defending.
Ange Postecoglou has pretty much admitted he doesn't care about defending. And that has been clear to see all season.
Spurs are so easy to play against and to play through. It is tiresome and a change needs to be made.
But, with a Europa League semi-final to come, we might as well let Postecoglou see the job through. That's been our only saving grace and he might as well lead us through that campaign.
He has to be sacked afterwards though. There's no way he stays as the boss, it's not been good enough.
Joe DoyleI'm not a Spurs fan, but I do like Ange Postecoglou. His first season with the club was unashamed entertainment in pure football terms.
However, football is a results business, as the old cliche goes. And I don't see how he can stay on as manager regardless of how well they do in the Europa League.
Will sacking him before the semi-finals take place have the desired impact? I'm not so sure it would. The decision could demoralise the squad even further ahead of the biggest games of the season.
There are four games to go in the Premier League, and finishing in 17th place is a real possibility. That is indefensible, and he will have to go this summer, unfortunately.
Tom ColeyThe big question for Tottenham is if this result makes them any more likely to win the Europa League or not. The answer is that it probably doesn't.
Whether it is Postecoglou or not, Tottenham have backed the manager this far and should continue to until the end. After that, and regardless of what happens against Bodo/Glimt or the potential final, Postecoglou is a gonner.
He knows it. Everyone seems to. It makes this whole pretence very weird but Tottenham have chosen to try continuity in the way of winning the competition. It may well be the best play. If there was a right time to sack Postecoglou it was definitely before now.
