GB News suffers VERY awkward blunder during two-minute silence Remembrance Day tribute

left viewers disappointed and wanting an "apology" after a news programme faced a technical error mid-way through the two minute silence on Remembrance Day.

The news channel, which features presenters including and former Apprentice star Michelle Dewberry, was in the middle of airing footage of the two minute silence when the issue occurred. led the nation in remembrance of the men and women who had lost their lives during the two wars and other conflicts.

And while things appeared to be going according to schedule at first, things took a drastic turn for the worse. Fans were left dismayed and angry as they were faced with a blank screen and a loud monotone sound. Seconds in to the coverage, viewers were shown Big Ben as the clock struck 11am. This was followed by King Charles standing in front of the to those who lost their lives to save the country amid both World War I and World War II.

Posting a snippet of the technical error on X, formerly known as , one viewer wrote alongside the clip: "The GB News coverage of the two minute silence went as well as you would expect.This was taken from YouTube. What was actually shown afterwards was an advert for a hotel."

This was then followed by another who penned:"One day hopefully that’ll be the noise coming from gbnews constantly, far more insightful than their usual output." A third person commented: "Obviously technical errors happen but to play a loud tone throughout the two minutes silence and then to go straight into an advert rather than an apology is spectacularly poor."

And a fourth viewer said: "On rememberence day, they forgot to do their due diligence? How disrespectful to our fallen heroes. What was more important than getting this right?" Meanwhile another outraged viewer posted: "Oh dear. This is either outrageous or it isn’t. I’d say it’s a technical glitch and very very unfortunate, but regardless it’s a poor show. It’ll be very interesting to see what @GBNEWS say in response."

Earlier this year the channel faced another blow after one of it's popular presenter's quit the show. Back in August, fans were left fuming after Ray Addison's shock departure was confirmed by the TV channel on social media. The statement on the channel's official X account read: "Today, @RayAddisonLive presented his final report on @GBNEWS. Ray has reported on some of the biggest stories spanning both sides of the Atlantic, as well as presenting the bulletins. We at GBN Updates will miss Ray very much, and wish him all the best for whatever comes next."

And the TV star reposted the statement, adding his own message that said: "Ah thanks @GBNUpdates - I’ve had a great time over the last three years and know it’s going to go from strength to strength." He had worked with well known stars including the late Caroline Flack, as he produced shows for networks such as Channel 5, , MTV and E! Entertainment. He then worked in the United Arab Emirates fr ten years before returning to the UK and worked for GB News.
