Downcast Kieran Trippier seen without wedding ring after marriage crisis took new turn

Send Push

Kieran Trippier was pictured not wearing his wedding ring after a clip of him partying it up with a blonde woman emerged.

The Newcastle United star, 33, married wife Charlotte in 2016, with the two sharing three children. His marriage was hit by scandal when an infamous night out saw him lifting a blonde lady, who has a distinctive tattoo on her left arm, during a night out with his Newcastle teammates at a karaoke bar in May last year.

He was filmed wrapping his arms around her and holding her bottom as they enjoyed their night out at a bar called Cosy Joes. His wife Charlotte was in Madrid at the time he was partying with his teammates. Amid the marriage drama, he was seen looking downcast at a train station on Saturday.

In pictures shared online, the star rocked a plain white shirt, a Gucci tracksuit and a black Fresh Ego Kid baseball cap. His ring finger was empty as he held onto a Starbucks cup. The only piece of jewellery he rocked was his gold watch. The star looked stressed as he looked at the camera.

The Mirror have reached out to his reps for comment. The lady in from Kieran's big night out is reportedly a 27-year-old call centre worker called Frankie Carmichael. It was said she is friends with a pal of the football star.

Meanwhile, there have been signs his marriage was possibly in trouble when Charlotte didn't show up to support hi during the Euros this year. In July, it was also reported that the couple enjoyed separate holidays, with Kieran reportedly flying to a Turkish resort while Charlotte went to Santorini with her sister.

And adding more weight to speculation that his marriage was in serious trouble, was the fact that the £3.8million family home in Morpeth, Northumberland was up for sale. In August, the footballer went through a huge change as he put in for a transfer from Newcastle and confirmed his retirement from international football.

Meanwhile, back in June his wife Charlotte allegedly came under attack by his pals after she posted a cryptic message sparking rumours of a definite split. She wrote "Sooner or later you get over the s*** you swore you'd never get over and it's the best feeling in the world."

She then captioned a post saying: "The sun is shining. Happy Monday angels." She had also stopped following the England International on social media and his pals have reportedly expressed their frustration over the timing of her post.
