Manchester's brand new Co-Op Live Arena cancelled its opening show for the third time due to a 'technical issue'.
The venue, which is the biggest indoor arena in the UK, was already postponed twice last week. US rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie's gig was cancelled and the venue announced the cancellation last minute while the star's fans were lining up outside the venue waiting to enter.
A statement on X, shared at 6.40pm, read: "Due to a venue-related technical issue, tonight's A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie show will no longer go ahead." Co-Op Live told ticket holders to leave the arena and told them they would be given more information 'in due course'.
Beloved comedian Peter Kay was meant to be the first person to perform at the new establishment last month. However, his show was postponed to the disappointment of fans.
