BBC Breakfast's Nina Warhurst has said 'enough is enough' and quit social media.

The BBC presenter has decided to take a break from social media as she shared a message to her followers. She came back to the show in January after being away on maternity leave. Nina, 43, has admitted she feels too busy for Instagram because she's looking after her little girl, Nancy, with her husband Ed Fraser.

She made one last post on Thursday morning (March 29) to say goodbye for a bit. The TV star told her followers goodbye with a cute photo of her carrying her baby in the kitchen. She wrote: "Signing off from Insta for a few weeks. I *love* this site. I don't take myself, or the apparently perfect lives of others, too seriously.

"I howl laughing every day from a scarily accurate meme. I connect with lovely people who I don't get to see IRL. And there are loads of cats and babies." Nina added: "Maybe I love it too much... Because I've found myself scrolling all. The. Time. Catching up on people's stories, having a nosey at how people live who have nothing to do with me, and (the absolute grossest) checking for likes... Enough is enough.

"I've never had so many plates to spin, and this little chick needs my full attention more often. See you soon x x x x." Nina's fans were sad to see her go but understood why she needed to leave. One fan said: "Aw will miss you and your brilliant, honest, truthful posts on here, but I completely understand. Take care, Nina, and big love to you and your family." Another added: "I'll miss your really honest take on life, family and SM people generally. But enjoy the break and give your time to those you care about. And make time for the chocolate this weekend."

Someone else commented: "Oh no! Will miss your posts. BUT totally understand. Enjoy this time with your little people, you'll never get this time back. Remember we'll all be here when you get back." A fourth wrote: "Sorry to see you go. You have a lovely family and have enjoyed your lovely personality on here. Take care and enjoy family time."

It comes just days after Nina and her husband Tim celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. Nina shared a video of their happy memories together, played to the song Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher and Higher by Jackie Wilson. The happy couple were already proud parents to two sons, Digby, seven and Michael, five, and welcomed their little girl last summer.

Nina used her social media to provide fans with motherhood updates. She enjoyed a glass of red wine and a wholesome meal, last year as she said: "Happy 3 months to my little one. But here’s a photo of me. Because I baked her, birthed her, am growing her via my boobies, and (after some lunchtime Beaujolais) am feeling brave enough to say I feel proud of that. Very grateful to the Fates that we’ve been able to do this - but it’s not been a doddle. And all Mummys should take a moment now and again to drink some beauj, hold a fork of greens over the head of a dead fish and reflect on the magnitude of what they did.”
