Arsenalcould be presented with a transfer market opportunity thanks to a recent decision by Newcastle United.
The summer transfer window is open which gives the Gunners the opportunity to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2025/26 Premier League season.
Arsenalare yet to make their first signing of the summer, but there could be movement in the days ahead once the new financial year gets underway on July 1.

One position of the pitch that Arsenal have been heavily linked with making new signings in the forward line.
A new centre forward is near the top of the to-do list for sporting director Andrea Berta, but that has not stopped rumours that wide forwards may also be players of interest.
With that in mind, Newcastle United's latest transfer decision could present an opportunity to Arsenal.
Chronicle Live have reported that Newcastle had seen their opening offer worth £45million rejected by Nottingham Forest for Anthony Elanga.
Forest are reported to value the Sweden international at around £60million and are reluctant to part ways with the winger.
If Newcastle do go on to sign Elanga, it would likely raise questions over the future of Anthony Gordon.
It was 12 months ago that the former Everton star was reportedly close to signing for Liverpool and could be on the move again if Elanga moves to St James' Park.
Newcastle currently have Gordon and Harvey Barnes in the left wing position. Barnes played a key role in helping the Magpies qualify for the Champions League with a run of four goals and four assists across March and April.
Gordon, on the other hand, scored his last Premier League goal back in January and could face an uncertain future if Elanga is signed.
If that was to happen, it could present Arsenal with a chance to capitalise and bring Gordon to the Emirates Stadium, provided they are in the market for a new left winger and see Gordon as a target.
