Pictures show 'Britain's most remote flytip' - an office swivel chair dumped at a harbour in the Scottish Highlands.
Officials at Cromarty Harbour issued a plea for the owner of the chair to come and get it. Colin Dickie, Chair of Cromarty Harbour Trust, admitted: "It has the best view in Cromarty." The harbour previously flagged its concern over littering at the facility, which is a 240-year-old historical landmark.
It posted a picture of the hapless item of furniture, stating: "This swivel chair has been left on the harbour and if it is not claimed it will be removed. "It's not a one off because it has been photographed over a week ago too but it's not really the impression that the harbour wants to encourage, along with the recent littering."

On earlier littering attributed to people from outside of Cromarty, it said it was disappointing to see the area mistreated with unauthorised vehicles, fishing in the wrong places that could damage the boats and leaving rubbish behind for our volunteers to clean up."
It said: "This is so disappointing for the community and for all of those who give up their time to protect and champion this local landmark."
