Alison Hammond's toyboy boyfriend 'facing calls everyday from his mum to end romance'

Alison Hammond's new boyfriend is reportedly ignoring his mum's pleas to dump the This Morning star.

The presenter, 49, has reportedly been dating Russian masseur David Putman, 26, since she booked him for a £150 massage and hit it off. Their friendship is said to have turned romantic at the end of last year, despite a two decade age gap between the pair. Alison and David have shared cosy snaps with each other on social media, and the TV star finally addressed her new romance last week.

She revealed David has the seal of approval from her 19-year-old son Aiden, however it seems David's family might not be as keen. Friends of David have claimed his mum Olga calls him everyday to insist he finds a "nice Russian girl". They said: "She thinks Alison is way too old for David and doesn’t like all the attention her TV fame has brought to her son. She’s uncomfortable that her son is with someone who has so much more financial power than him."

“She’s told him in no uncertain terms that he must end it," the friend told The Sun. They claimed Olga calls her son "almost every day and tells him how unhappy she is". However, they said David is "happy" with his romance to Alison, who is worth up to a reported £4 million.

Last month Alison shared snaps of her and David together on social media including one where they cosied up together with their arms wrapped around each other on a country walk. This Morning and Bake Off host Alison hinted at their romantic relationship by liking one of David’s posts on social media in November last year.

Her son Aiden has made dating "more difficult", according to Alison. Speaking on the Parenting Hell podcast Alison was asked by host Rob Beckett if it was more difficult dating with a teenage son. Alison replied: "I think it's more difficult. I think he's more verbal now that he's older, he will wanna to know who this person is and he'll want to meet them..."It's a lot harder, yeah. Because he'll wanna know that this guy is treating me well. The person that I'm seeing at the moment, he's like on his Instagram. He's like, 'Yeah, I like him. I like him. He's not too in your face.' Do you know what I mean? Aiden's on it.

"And when they actually met he really liked him, and really thought he was lovely. So I was like, 'Thank goodness for that,' because normally Aiden HATES anybody I date. Literally just not interested. And you just know at that point, if Aiden doesn't like them, this isn't going to work."

Alison added: "There are moments and I think, 'Who's the parent here?' You know what I mean? I do feel that sometimes. It's nice though because it's like I've got somebody always there protecting me, looking over me, and he reminds me a bit of my [late] mum in some of the things he says."

The Mirror has contacted Alison's representative for comment.
